At one time, guests were able to walk up to most restaurants and be seated shortly afterwards, without booking a table in advance. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. But don't worry, we've got your back!

In today's Disneyland Paris blog post, we're sharing our amazing tips to help you snag those 'hard to get' dining reservations. These are our tried and tested methods that have helped us make dining reservations at Disneyland Paris' more popular and most sought-after restaurants.

How To Make Dining Reservations?

Making dining reservations in Disneyland Paris is very simple. Firstly, you will need to download the Disneyland Paris app. If you have booked a hotel and ticket package direct with Disneyland Paris, you will want to link your booking to the app (this will give you wider choice of dates and restaurants, but more on this later). Once you have linked your booking, simply select "Book A Table" on the homepage. From there you have 2 options:

01. If you have a particular restaurant in mind, you can search by restaurant by selecting the chosen restaurant in the list. You will then need to select a date and how many people the reservation is for. You will then be shown what times are available on your selected date.

02. Or if you are a looking to book from a number of restaurants, you can search by date. Once you have selected the date and how many people the reservation is for you will then be asked to select a rough time (breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner). From there, you will then be shown what restaurants and times are available on that day.

Once you have selected a time, you will then be asked to add some contact information and add any special requests (such as accessibility requirements, adding a birthday cake or having a table with a high chair etc). You will receive a confirmation of your booking and can access all your table reservations under the account tab on the app.

And that's it! Booking a table via the app is the simplest way to make your dining reservations. You can also simply walk up to the restaurant you'd like to dine at on the day and see if they have any availability during your trip. Or if you're staying in one of the Disney hotels, you can make reservations at the concierge desk. We wouldn't recommend these options however as most of the restaurants are incredibly busy and tables will likely not be available if you leave it this late.

Which Restaurants Can You Make A Reservation For?

Tables can be booked in advance at most table service restaurants across the 2 theme parks, Disney Village and the hotels. Quick service restaurants, grab and go locations and bars are currently not available for pre-booking, although you can order ahead at some quick service locations. At the time of writing you can book a table in advance at the following restaurants:

Auberge de Cendrillon, Bistrot Chez Rémy, Cape Cod, Captain Jack's - Restaurant des Pirates, Chuck Wagon Café, Crockett’s Tavern, Downtown Restaurant, Hunter's Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern, La Cantina, La Grange at Billy Bob’s Country Western Saloon, Manhattan Restaurant, Plaza Gardens Restaurant, PYM Kitchen, Restaurant Agrabah Café, Silver Spur Steakhouse, The Steakhouse, Walt’s – an American restaurant and Yacht Club.

Tips To Help You Snag A Table

01. Make Your Dining Reservations As Soon As You Have Booked Your Trip.

Disneyland Paris has recently updated their restaurant booking window. Previously, all guests could make their dining reservations up to 2 months in advance. A new perk for onsite guests (those who have booked a hotel and ticket package direct with Disneyland Paris) is that they can now book tables at their favourite restaurants as soon as they have booked their trip, up to 12 months in advance.

The only exceptions to this rule is Walt's & Auberge, where all guests are only able to book 2 months in advance.

02. Sign Up For Free Dining Reservation Alerts

The whole reason we wanted to write this post is because of this amazing tip we recently picked up. We have a trip planned for January 2023 (we're very excited!) We booked the trip more than 2 months in advance but all reservations had gone for Downtown Restaurant (our personal favourite place to eat in Disneyland Paris).

Undeterred, we did a bit of research and we found a website that sends you an email when tables become available. You simply select the restaurant, enter the date and time you'd like to dine, how many guests the reservation is for and enter your email address. And it worked! Here's the website: https://www.dlptables.com/

03. Check With The Restaurant When You Visit

If you didn't get the reservation you were hoping for, do not give up! Make sure to visit the restaurant on the day of your trip as they may be able to seat you. Guests do not always turn up for their reservations or they cancel them on the day, so always double check with the restaurant. It is also worth asking about 2 hours before the restaurant closes as the restaurant will be quieter and they may be able to seat you.

So those were our top tips to help you make those sought after dining reservations at Disneyland Paris. We hope you found this helpful! If you did, let us know in the comment section below.
